Self-Selection: You select a car independently on our platform at auctions.carplugusa.pl, accessing vehicles from major US auctions.

Tips For Selecting The Right Car

Signing the Contract

Once you've selected a vehicle and finalized the details, we'll formalize our agreement:

Contract Formalization: We prepare a detailed contract outlining all terms, conditions, and estimated costs
Deposit Payment: You make an initial deposit in PLN to secure our services
Auction Bidding: We participate in the auction with your predetermined budget limit
Vehicle Purchase: Upon winning the auction, you make an express transfer to pay for the vehicle

Protection Policy

If the auction exceeds your set budget, your deposit is fully refunded. We only proceed with the purchase when it falls within your approved limit.

Transport from the USA

Once your vehicle is purchased, we handle the entire shipping process:

Auction Collection: Your vehicle is collected from the auction house by our trusted partners and transported to our US warehouse

Documentation: Comprehensive photo documentation is created at our warehouse for your review

Container Loading: After approximately 14 days at the warehouse, your vehicle is loaded into a shipping container

Maritime Transit: Maritime transport takes approximately 30 days to reach the destination port (Rotterdam or Bremerhaven)

Tracking & Insurance

Throughout the shipping process, we provide:

Real-time Tracking: You'll receive a tracking link to monitor your vehicle's journey
Regular Updates: We provide progress updates at key milestones
Full Insurance: Your vehicle is fully insured throughout the entire journey

The entire shipping process typically takes 45-50 days from auction purchase to arrival at the European port.

Did You Know?

Container ships typically travel at 16-18 knots (18-21 mph), crossing the Atlantic Ocean in approximately 10-12 days. The remaining time is spent in port loading/unloading and customs processing.

Customs Clearance

Once your vehicle arrives at the European port, we handle all customs formalities:

Documentation: We prepare and submit all necessary customs declarations and importation documents

Taxes & Duties: We manage payment of all required import taxes and duties

VAT: 19% (Germany) or 21% (Netherlands)
Import Duty: 10% for cars, 6% for motorcycles
Customs processing fees as per contract

Inspection: We manage any required vehicle inspections or certifications

Documentation: After unloading, we create new photo documentation for your review

Final Delivery

After customs clearance, your vehicle is transported to your specified address in Poland, typically arriving within 5-7 days of clearing customs.
